IEBA has been helping people from the Electrical industry for over 25 years and the number we help each year continues to grow in today’s challenging economic environment.
IEBA (Registered Charity No. 20046989) is financed through the hard work of the IEBA Board and friends, who voluntarily manage several fund-raising events every year in addition to individual donations and the kind generosity of our industry Partners.

How can I make a one-off donation?

Can I leave a gift to IEBA in my will?
Yes. Bequests and legacies are greatly appreciated and help us continue supporting colleagues across the electrical industry. You can leave a gift from your total estate, or from what remains once all debts are paid.
Can IEBA claim tax back on my donation?
Yes. If you donate €250 or more in a tax year (about €21 a month), IEBA can reclaim tax at 31% on your donation at no extra cost to you. All contributions are treated confidentially.
How do corporate donations work?
Companies donating to a registered charity can claim a deduction for the donation as if it were a trading expense. For full details, visit revenue.ie.
